| Lyon Productions was officially started in 2008 as a Division of the Genesee County Patriots. The Patriots were founded in 2002 by Father & Son business team Leo & Brad Lyon. Lyon Productions was developed based on an area need. Thanks to Michigan's Incentives Packages for the Filming Industry, the state received a boom in film production. Now the area needed a home town outlet that could help muster up the local talent and help give it the direction it needed. The Patriot organization already had a great deal of experience with representing talent in print media, promotional events, in commercials and film, as well as athletics obviously. With representing literally hundreds of athletes, dancers, and cheer leaders over the years, many different types of opportunities had opened up for the program. Recently, the Patriots began expanding their marketing, which included their own writing, producing, and casting of commercials as well as partnerships will featured length films. With plenty of hands on experience in so many aspects of client management, it became obvious there was a need to branch out and create a separate division developed specifically for representing the program's clients. Now Lyon Productions brings with it years of direct experience in event hosting and production, image consulting, casting, movie and commercial production, on set consulting, and far more things then we can name. We've handled our clients dealing with businesses for product marketing, promotional appearances, commercial work, print advertising, on camera appearances, and even featured length film roles.
