Article 47

The National Football League (NFL) is not the only league running April Mini-Camps. This April, the Patriots will
feature their own Mini-Camp, a two day, 5 practice camp held at a currently undisclosed location. Minus a hand
full of additions scheduled for May, the camp will feature primarily the entire roster and will be the kick off prior to
the official start of out door practices for the team.

In other news, the team expects to trim their total number of roster spots this season to reduce travel costs while
also eliminating the need for a travel roster. NAFL teams are allowed to sign up to 60 players, with 53 athletes
being active on game day. The Patriots expect to trim their roster to the mid forties, thus allowing all of their
active athletes to be on the travel roster.
THE TEAM
Competition looks to heat up on the offensive line as several players look to battle it out.  Recent signee Andrew
Kroesing (6'3, 324) has been added to lock down the Right Tackle position. His addition improves the
competition at Left Tackle as Michael White (6'2, 282) looks to try to push rookie Zachary Rivest (6'5, 252) for
time in the rotation. At guard, Josh Wentworth (6'0, 314) is currently penciled in on the left side, but Right Guard
may be a log jam. Mike Sizemore (6'3, 262) and Chad Jeroue (5'10, 252) both could be in the race on the right
side, though each are expected to be contributors to the Defensive Line. Steven Ramirez (6'1, 265) is listed at
Center but experienced veteran Chris Dinnan (6'1, 262) could be in the rotation at either Center or Right Guard.

However the Offensive Line pans out, they are expected to offer good protection for former college baseball
player and star High School Quarterback Dave Inman, a rookie this season.
AROUND THE NAFL
The NAFL has expanded with several new teams. The Georgia Generals, Nepa Miners, New England Knights,
Midwest Titans, and Albany Metro Mallers are just a few of the expansion teams on board in 2007. Though
teams like the Miners, Generals, and Titans are entering their Inaugural season, the Knights and Mallers are
strong programs making the move up the NAFL. The Knights earned three undefeated seasons, three league
championships, and won three bowl games during their previous six seasons of operations before moving to the
NAFL. Meanwhile, the Mallers are back to back Empire League Champions in 05 and 06 and appeared in the
USA Bowl at the University of Miami last season, meeting the NAFL's DC Explosion in an over time contest the
Explosion won 32-26.
ON THE WIRE
Two more additions will be covered in this installment of the Patriot Insider. Both are expected to be contributors
during the 2007 season, their rookie year in the NAFL:

Robert Callahan, CB, 6'2" 183 lbs. - Flint, Michigan
A versatile athlete, Callahan came into the combine projected as a receiver and has been moved to Defensive
Back. At Flint Northern, Callahan played in the defensive backfield while also being a back up at quarterback. At
6'2 he offers good height as a defensive back and is expected to be in the rotation in 2007.

Andrew Kroesing, RT, 6'3" 324 lbs. - Auburn Hills, Michigan
Kroesing offers an ideal package of size and strength needed to fill the right tackle position. His addition should
shore up depth on the Offensive Line and create competition at Left Tackle. He was an All League athlete and
team captain at Avondale High School.
