Patriots Resign Wilson
Thursday, April 18th 2004

When your looking to fill big shoes who better to fill them then the one who left them vacant. Just
three days prior Rob Wilson, a 2nd year DT for the Patriots, was headed for Florida. On April 18th
those plans were dropped as the Patriots resigned Wilson. Wilson looks to compete for the starting
defensive tackle position next to 1st year Patriots Jon Horton. The addition of Wilson once again
solidifies the DT position and the Patriots can look to free agency for depth instead of immediate
starters.

Rob Wilson Heads To Florida
Thursday, April 15th 2004

DT Rob Wilson, a 2nd year veteran Patriot, will be leaving the Patriots and heading to Florida.
Wilson was slated to start at defensive tackle next to Jon Horton, a first year Patriot that looks to have
a big impact in his first season. Wilson's departure leaves a big void on the defensive line that the
Patriots will look to fill with a free agent signing prior to the start of the season. Wilson also spent time
at offensive tackle and impacts depth at that position as well. However, the Florida opportunity is
great for both Wilson and his family and the Patriots wish him the best!

won out and became a career ender. Though often undersized in his battles with opposing offensive
linemen, he was an anchor on the Patriots defensive line. Following his retirement from play, the
Genesee county Patriots named him an assistant coach. The Patriots feel his exceptional ability and
great leadership will be a strong addition to their coaching staff. Hendley will help assist the
