A SEASON ON THE MOVE
Just a few weeks into practice and the Royal and Scarlet already seem to be in an early groove. Systems
on both sides of the ball are being  installed smoothly as the team gears up for another run at the Playoffs.

The Defensive is taking shape fast thanks to an interesting molding of minds. Defensive coaches Bill
Pritchet and Brad Lyon both had run a similar system in years past and have been able to quickly come
together on terminology and philosophy. Defensive Coordinator Pritchet had run a similar Defensive
system that he won a state championship with while coaching in Illinois that Assistant Coach Lyon began
installing prior to his arrival. This has transferred into the Defensive Unit making quick strides in picking it
up and already are looking like veterans of the multiple stack play book.

Coach Donahue has been pleased with the results of the Offensive Unit's progress as well. Quarterback
Tony Bravata is showing that rookie jitters will not be an issue in terms of grasping a Minor League
Offense. Timing with the receiving core has been solid early on, while a more athletic offensive line looks
to have good potential with newcomers like Center Justin Brown developing nicely.

All in all, the Patriots seem focused on making a second consecutive trip to the playoffs in 2008.
